Another glorious day in London, sunshine, cool breeze, cooler then yesterday.
Saw some beautiful sculptures in the Victorai and Albert museum, such delicate work, and some plaster castes of some famous works including one of the statue of david. I didn’t realise it was so big!! – the statue that is, now I need to go to Europe and see the real thing.The museum is enormous with many exhibitions including a whole room of decorative iron work done through the ages.
We got our half priced tickets for The Producers tonight – looking forward to that.
Lunch was by the lake in Hyde park, after a bemused walk past the water feature memorial to Lady Diana – those who have seen it will understand what I mean. back home now relaxing the poor tired feet (John is soaking his in the spa) before hitting West End tonight.
